The best time is the one that fits your route.
A client calls for a tuning. Instead of flipping through the week and guessing at the drive, open the booking sheet: Pianobooker checks every opening against your hours, your other visits and the real drive between them, and puts the ones that waste the least of your day at the top.
Each suggestion says why. "Right after Sarah Morrison, 12 min." "Keeps Thursday clustered, 3 stops." Pick one and it's booked.
What happens when you look for a time.
- 1
Only real openings
Every time is checked against your working hours, breaks, blocked time, existing visits, minimum notice and how far ahead you book.
- 2
Can you get there?
The drive from the visit before and to the visit after is measured with Google's road distances. Times you cannot reach are dropped.
- 3
Priced in minutes
Each opening is scored by the driving it adds and the dead time it leaves, gaps too short to go home. Lowest cost goes first.
- 4
Explained, then booked
Each time carries its reason. Ask Pianobooker Intelligence to weigh the whole route, or just tap the one you like.
How Pianobooker picks a time.
Reasons you can check
A suggestion is never a mystery. Each one carries the reason it ranks where it does:
- Right after a client, with the drive from them
- Right before a client
- Keeps a day clustered, with how many stops it already has
- The drive from home base to start the day
- Simply the soonest good opening
Pianobooker Intelligence weighs the whole route
Tap "Use Pianobooker Intelligence" and it looks across the next three weeks (up to eight), picks the opening that best fits your route and explains its pick in a sentence, with a couple of alternatives. Ask for something different, like "make it later", and it looks again.
It can only choose from openings the scheduler has already checked, so it cannot invent a time that clashes with your day.
Your rules, in plain words
Set your hours (more than one session a day if you work mornings and evenings), recurring breaks like lunch, the buffer between visits, how much notice you need, how far ahead clients can book, a cap on visits per day, and the longest drive you will take between jobs. Settings reads them back to you as plain sentences so you can see exactly what the scheduler will do.
Add your own preferences in words, like "keep Fridays light", and Pianobooker Intelligence takes them into account when it explains a pick.
The same thinking on your booking page
When a client books themselves through their personal link, the times offered to them are ranked the same way, so they are nudged toward the day you are already nearby. They see a friendly line like "Suggested by your technician: they're finishing nearby just before."
Sensible out of the box.
Buffer between visits, so you have time to pack up and move.
Minimum notice before a client can book a time.
How far ahead the booking page offers times.
The longest drive between two visits the scheduler will plan.
